If purple was your favorite color… then… can I be … purple?

Poem: YOUR COLOR PURPLE

If I were purple, would I be blessed?
Just to be in your thoughts —
That blessed realm of royalty
Maybe a purple petunia…
I suppose you think of me —
As Barney or Brinjal
Just a fleeting comic
It could still be my dream
Because you think of awful
But… I am in your thoughts
And… I am blessed
Because I am purple.
