Poem: Workwear, Work Wear

--

Middle of a super busy work day. A poem was the only way out. Flat 2 minutes. Excuse the AI picture.

Poem: Workwear, Work Wear

A smiling face, combed hair
Kempt beard and shaven face
Perfect hand folds and wristwatch
Formal shirts and jackets
Tucked into neatly pressed trousers
Polished shiny shoes and fresh socks
Oh, this perfect, perfect workwears

Deadlines and tasks
Breakfast meetings and then some more
Lunch and the aftermath
The watercooler talks and whispers
Loads of black coffee —
To avoid the shut-eye and snores
Followups and frustrations
In the end, on others you depend
Oh, this imperfect, imperfect work wears.
