A poetic collaboration between me and Priya, my friend followed the last one.

Poem: When all is lost, my words remain

I have lost it all
The love I have sought
And the love I have given
Now, these words just remain
Slowly they will be the only ones
As I fade away with time …Ashok

Where did they go
The moments of love
before other memories
took over
Or did the existing love
metamorphosize
Perhaps the blending of two incomplete loves
Where do you go from here … Priya

I don’t know —
All I know is
Nothing remains
Except me
Then your words
Keep me company …Ashok

My words remain
like the clouds
shifting at times
but then there;
above you
watching, offering rain
to cleanse when needed
and then a clear path
for sunlight after
But my words will always
remain … Priya
