Poem: The Source

Initially, I was confused why many posts get likes and mine don’t.

It slowly dawned on me that I was trying to be close to the destination. Of course, I can’t and don’t wish to be.

Because that is not me.

I am the SOURCE. A source has to look within, and not without.

I am the earth that sprouts the seeds. I am the sky that brings the rain. I am the flower that brings the scent. I am the breeze that carries the aroma.

I am the SOURCE.

Then why should I worry about the destination? Destination has its destiny.

So, in short, the likes don’t matter. For I look within.

Poem: The Source

I close my eyes
when I sing or listen to a song
savoring its melodies

I close my eyes
when I write a poem
as words sprout from thoughts

I close my eyes
when I smell the flowers
dipping into their aromatic utopia

I close my eyes
to create a uiverse
making the destinies of my characters

I close my eyes
to ponder over the verses
written by the great poets

I close to my eyes
to look within- for
I am the SOURCE.
