Come 2025, Life suddenly flows West.

Poem: The River That Flows West

The river that flows west
It has two banks, like the others
They run parallel and never meet.
This river that flows west
It takes people along, without contact
A journey along one bank
That one shall not plan or prepare
Then they return along the other
Where the end became the beginning
All along, a journey within oneself

Not long ago —
A journey on a train
Carriages on two wheels
They ran parallel and never met.
It was a journey to nowhere
It took us to a point
One decided to get off finally
But, the train went on and forward
On a journey, still to nowhere.

The one who got off the train
Meets me along one bank
Of the river that flows west
This journey along one bank
Maybe, a return along the other
We walk parallel and never meet
We shall not plan or prepare
All along, a journey within oneself
