Poem: The Rainbow

Last week, two train journeys and a long 1500 km road trip, all at work. As I was writing my first novel, this little moment came my way.

I can’t complain about this view — just more than coincidence, don’t you agree?

Poem: THE RAINBOW

The baby of rain and shine,
Glimmering drops and wet rays,
A heavenly kaleidoscope,
The symbol of hope,
The mythical pot of gold,
Magic of that fleeting moment,
Here it is and then gone,
In the blink of an eye,
Like the ‘present’ in our lives,
Live the moment, which is real and magical,
No past can provide,
And no future can promise!

THE RAINBOW BRIDGE:

Happy to share that I have started work on my new novel, titled ‘The Rainbow Bridge’.

The book is about the protagonist's journey as he starts to feel and experience ‘the rainbow bridge’ in his life.

The Rainbow Bridge is the gateway to the other side and is visible to those who are dying. It is a story about death, and how death is seen by the dying and the living. The story is inspired by the author’s life but also brings out the deeper delvings and discoveries of death in a person’s life.

The book was inspired by his readings of Leo Tolstoy, especially the ‘Death of Ivan Ilyich’ and his personal experiences, especially with the recent passing of his mother and cousin.
