Then, I woke up with a resolve. I shall write more.
Poem: The Morning After
Words have changed this world —
Just speak with your heart.
Authentic. Unabashedly you.
But, write… write more.
Let the sounds of words silence them
Let the silence between them speak.
The words can open new worlds
New people and characters from different times
People we would never meet
Places we would never go
Times that we can never travel
Beyond the laws of science
Magic and miracles are the rules than exceptions
Paint a picture or pen a lyric
Become the backbone of the notes of music.
The morning after —
I resolve that
