That moment I missed. I won’t get it back. It just remains in my memory.

Poem: THAT MOMENT…

That moment that I so wanted
That moment that just went past
That moment that is no more
That moment that won’t come back
That moment that I should have
That moment when I did not
That moment I became afraid
That moment since I regret
That moment that I can’t let go
That moment I want to go back
That moment I want to start over
That moment I wished I could get back…

That moment the clock ticked past
That moment the waves crashed
That moment you waited for, perhaps
That moment you thought I would
That moment you could cherish forever
That moment you keep silent
That moment you turned away …
That moment I had my chance
That moment I blew it all away
That moment remains with me…
Now as just a memory.
