Poem: Sunshine on my Broken Window

The third poem in the #loveseries is based on a line that has stuck with me for some time. So this song is just dusting the attic, as I warm up to the last days of autumn.

Poem: SUNSHINE ON MY BROKEN WINDOW

Show me your sunshine -
A glint on the glass
A dazzling display of reflected rainbow
On the broken window of my heart
Let in a little breeze of love
and I can see your true, blue sky

Just a smile, for me, please
Once in a while, I shall dream
Your chocolate-moon face
In the middle of a billion stars
A thousand clouds may come and go
But yours is the only sun
That shall bring me the shine
On my broken window.
