Poem: Scattered Stars

Well, the stars in the sky aren’t exactly neatly arranged. They are scattered, but impressive enough to catch Priya’s eye.

Poem: Scattered Stars

So little time, like twinkling sands
In a fast-moving hourglass;
Yet that time when my children
occupy my space
It's like a galaxy of multicolored stars
Their youthful exuberance will soon pass,
and all that shall remain is me
They start as seeds yearning for life
and sprout their way into beating hearts;
leaving behind etches of their moments
As every new journey begins
They become a kaleidoscope of hope
aching to be scattered
like multicolored stars across the sky;
Then all that shall remain is me …

I sent some scattered stars that I found on my evening walk.

Scattered Stars — Part 2 Inspired by Priya Patel

Scattered but not shattered
In fact, they are intact
Those shiny stars
Across the night sky
I picked a few good ones
On my lonely evening walk
And blew them along your way

Even the multicoloured ones
That appear as twinkling sands
I am sure, my dear friend
You will find them up there
Wait for your nightfall
My gift for you this evening.
