Poem: Needless Goodnight

Have you ever said good night to somebody and ended up chatting for hours later?

Poem: NEEDLESS GOODNIGHT

A good night told
In a timeless realm
The ceaseless heartbeats
of an insomniac heart.

Sanguinary solace
of daydreams than
closed eyelids creating
tumultuous nightmares.

An ironic greeting
In reality, a taunt of sorts
Two insomniacs now
whispering beyond the wish.
