The past 48 hours have been challenging. I have confided in only one individual, but that is sufficient. I even had to cancel a planned excursion. However, amid my difficulties, a poem emerged that you may appreciate.

Poem: Life in its little bits

The moments that come in
Even grief gets its break
When we sleep at night
Nothing like a good night’s sleep

A butterfly’s life of a few days
It does not matter to it
For it lives in the moment
Fluttering around flowers

Even the storms will pass

So will the rainbows

But let us ride the storm

And slide down the rainbows

Even on a tough day
There are the little moments
That gives us joy and hope
Let’s ride the moment’s wave

Life is even otherwise short
To grieve and despair for long
Just let us smile and enjoy
Life in its little bits.
