Poem: Immortal Cat

Mar 25, 2025

Could you go to my previous poem? I am still in hibernation. But the cat can only be curious.

Poem : IMMORTAL CAT

I know you would say —
You stoked the embers
Perhaps dying in silence
You would never again.

But…
Curiosity caught the cat
And the cat slipped out of the bag
I laugh and write a poem
Then, another — this one.

The stoked embers now smoke
And smoke is never without a spark
A spark is never without a thought
And in that thought —
I was there
That is…our immortality.
