Sometimes, it is the daybreak that gives you the much-needed break that you have been looking for. I got this opportunity today, inspired by Sarah Polyakov’s artwork.

🎉 Happy Saturday 🎉 and enjoy this new #procreate piece. This one is inspired by the sunrises at my house.

Here was my poem.

Poem: SEIZE YOUR GOLDEN DAY

Like the waves say hello
kissing the shore
The sun wishes good morning
Peeping from the horizon

The skin of the morning ocean
takes a golden shimmer
the sky blazes in gold
the golden dust in the air

the value of the moment
worth its weight in gold
may dissipate in the next — like
the silver froth of the broken waves.

This a calm way to say
‘My friend, seize the day’
Early bird will have its way
When he shows up to play.

Now, a picture and a poem later, let’s get the day going.
