Clouded heads like the mountain peaks or wavering minds on the beach? Poet like me — we like both, but I prefer the mountains. What do you prefer?

Poem: CLOUDED HEADS AND WAVERING MINDS

Picture from Freepik

I like a clouded head
Much like the mountains
Than a wavering mind
The frothy ones on the beaches
Just because it’s cool.

I get to see the beauty
Of other clouded heads
That might be –
But my wavering mind
Disappears into the horizon
Beyond which I can’t see.

The end of the land
Licked by the waves
Or caressed by the clouds
Titillating and tantalizing
For those who live on the edge
The bodily adventurers and the
Vicarious wizards of words

Clarity of minds and
The magic of humanity
Visible to the spirit
And consumed by science
The desire to drown in the depths
Or just wander off the peaks
Getting lost beyond the realm

All packed in those –
The clouded heads
And the wavering minds
For those are the muddles
That makes the poetic puddles
The words that seek –
Both the sea and the peaks.
