Fine, I will not turn the page. Because…I can’t. So…

I can’t turn this page, I try but I stop
For I still see you in those words aghast
That moment is frozen in forever eternity
The present would never become the past

If I turn the page I fear I might lose you
This moment will become a memory
As if you would leave me behind
What is next, I don’t know but worry

What a fine story we made this far
We etched each chapter and verse
The ink has dried and the words are visible
A journey together for better and for worse

But this is now, a moment of twist
I don’t want to write our story alone
I can’t turn this page, I try but I stop
I will leave the book open, this page torn.
