Poem: A New Year, Everyday

The sun does not know today is New Year’s Day. Yet, it rises like usual, bringing sunshine and warmth into our lives. Imagine if we were the sun — we got to live a new life every day — from dawn to dusk.

Poem: A NEW YEAR, EVERY DAY

We get a gift daily
Yet we wait for a year
What to make of us

Waking up with a yawn
East lights up a dawn
A full day before us

Let in that little sun
Of course, a little fun
Share our happiness.

Let us jump and fly
Across the azure sky
The little world beneath us.

The little breeze brings
winds beneath our wings
Worries, now meaningless

Making good of our day
And make it stay that way
The year is forever upon us.
