Somewhere, there is a life beyond the present imbroglio. I need to find it.

Poem: A Life Beyond

Peek the universe through our lens
A realm that manifests from our conscience
The planes of our existence
Dimensions of space and time
Convergence of the universe
That moment when our planes intersected
A small scar remains hidden
In the deep chambers of my heart
I stay awake as the darkness grows
My vacant thoughts drown in
The sound of the midnight rain
Dark leaves will turn green and glimmer
Soaking in the streaks of dawn
The moment arrives again —
Fresh, fragile, and fluttering morning
Permutations portraying possibilities
The afternoon arrives too soon –
Blazing whiteness bearing witness
The shadows disappear under the feet
A long evening awaits —
Somewhere, the answers lie hidden
Only the twilight can unravel
And fade into another sleepless night
Thoughts dissolve into uncertainty
Yet, one thing is certain —
Another dawn shall be born
And there is a life beyond…
